Charming fisherman’s cottage, on two floors, constructed of flint cobbles. c.1840 with modern additions. All linen (summer or winter duvets as appropriate), towels, tea-towels and beach towels are provided. WiFi is available free of charge.
In order to cater for visitors with allergies we do not accept pets and insist that the holiday cottage remains entirely smoke-free.
Entry is by key-lock for which the code will be provided before arrival.
Parking is not permitted in Whitehall Yard, except for loading/unloading, but street parking is available close by or weekly car-park tickets are available on arrival (nearest car park 90m).
Holiday Cottage Accommodation for 3 people
The ground floor sitting room has comfortable seating for three people, with two fully reclining soft leather arm-chairs and a single large fabric chair. An hexagonal coffee table, and a bookcase, provides a homely feel to a light and spacious room. A dining room table and four chairs add to the living space.
The 32" free-view television, with built-in DVD player, is positioned so that it can be seen from all parts of the room.
Two wall mounted night-storage radiators and a free standing electric wood-effect fire provide comfort during the coldest spells.
The modern fitted kitchen area is equipped with a copious built-in electric oven and a four burner electric hob with extractor over. Also in the kitchen is a microwave, a refrigerator with small ice box, and a fully automatic washer/drier. The cottage is fully equipped for guests, with toaster, kettle, kitchen utensils, tableware, glassware and cutlery.
Stairs lead up to the first floor with two bedrooms and a family bathroom containing toilet, hand basin, bath and hand-held hair spray.
The main bedroom contains a king-size bed with bedside cabinets and lights. The bedroom furniture includes wardrobe and chest of drawers and is equipped with a small television and bedside radio. A fixed night-storage radiator is installed.
The smaller bedroom contains a single bed with bedside cabinet and light and a wardrobe. A fixed night-storage radiator is installed.
Outside the cottage there is a small terrace with bistro table and chairs with a variety of pots containing flowers and shrubs.
